Coastal Bend MUMs (Meet Up Moms). We currently have 80 members. We host weekly/daily playdates, Mom's Night Out, Couples Night Out, Family Fun Functions, Book Club, Bunco Game Nights and more. We are open to Moms and kids of all ages. We require Mom's to apply for membership and attend one public playdate before they are admitted to the group. offer mothers and expectant mothers an opportunity to learn about breastfeeding
and mothering in a casual setting. Each group meets once a month to
discuss a breastfeeding topic. Mothers and their babies are welcome
to join in the discussion or to just attend. There is an optional membership
though no fee is charged to attend the meetings.
MOMS IN ACTION to Host CO-OP Classes: Moms In Action (MIA), an outreach of the Children’s Ministry at Padre Island Baptist Church, is hosting Co-Op Classes for ages 3 years through middle school. Parent-led classes have included physical education, age-appropriate cooking, science lab, story time and introduction to drafting. Registration for MIA Co-Op will be held at Padre Island Baptist Church, 14253 S. Padre Island Dr. (Enter doors facing Whataburger.) Classes will be held at the church on Fridays from 8:30 to 11:45 am, starting again in the New Year. All stay-at-home Moms with Preschool and home schooling families through High School are invited to participate. Fees for classes are dependent on supplies required. New Neighbors League (NNL on Facebook) is a group that welcomes people who
have lived in Corpus Christi for less than 1 year. They hold a
Coffee and a Luncheon once a month and have many clubs. Bunco,
